寄田茜の作品は、風や接触によって揺れ動く形や、糸の前後関係が倒錯するような視覚効果によって鑑賞者自身の知覚の弱点、または微妙さを認識するきっかけを作り出します。彼女は展示空間に形体や輪郭が限定されない造形を設置することで、鑑賞者のイメージを介入させるための余白（限定された意味を持たない場所）を構成します。
